    Standard Price: £320 per participant

     

    Payment must be made in full for each participant at the set price.

    The total cost is calculated per person, based on the number of attendees.

    No group discounts are available.

    What are the camp fees?

    What is the arrival date and time?

    The camp will run from Monday 25th August 2025 to Friday 29th August 2025. Arrival time will be Monday at 11:00am and departure time will be Friday at 14:00pm

    Will transport be provided?

    We are pleased to share that there will be a complimentary coach available:

    The first stop will be from Karamsar Gurdwara (Ilford)

    The second stop will be from Park Avenue Gurdwara (Southall)

    Please note that, we can only reserve coach places for the number specified in your registration form and only for those with a fully paid booking.

    You are also welcome to make your own travel arrangements if you prefer.

    What will the accomodation be like?

    Accommodation will be shared, with 4–6 people per room.

    Rooms will be equipped with bunk beds.

    Bathrooms will be shared and separated by gender to ensure privacy and comfort for all participants.

    We aim to create a warm, respectful, and comfortable environment for everyone staying at the camp.

    I've never learned kirtan before, can I still attend?

    Absolutely! There’s so much we have to offer, and you’ll learn a great deal during your time with us. You’ll have the opportunity to learn santhia (meaning and pronunciation of Gurbani), take part in singing sabads, enjoying Gurus Kirtan and even get hands-on experience with musical instruments.

     

    What is the age range?

    While there is no specific age limit for attending the camp, only children aged 7 and above will be able to participate in the tuition-based lessons and workshops.

     

    All participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times during the camp.

     

    For everyone’s safety and peace of mind, our safeguarding policy will be shared with you upon arrival.

    The camp will offer a variety of music-related activities, including but not limited to lessons, performances, workshops and outdoor activities such as rock climbing, treetop adventure, canoeing and archery. The specific activities and schedule may vary and are subject to change at the discretion of the camp organisers.

    Morning Divaan: Simran, Nitnem & Asa di Vaar

    Gentle yoga stretches to awaken the body

    Morning Sessions:

    Learning a Raag

    Music Theory

    Santhia (scriptural reading)

    Practical Music Lessons
    A short break will be included mid-morning.

    Afternoon Activities:
    Outdoor adventures, creative indoor sessions, or free practice time.
    Participation is flexible—you can choose to explore activities or continue practicing your instrument.

    Guru Ji’s Sukhasan, Rehraas Sahib & Ardaas – a time to reflect and give thanks for the day.

    Campfire Discussions:
    A relaxed, reflective space to enjoy toasted marshmallows and Vichaar (spiritual discussions) around Raags, Gurbani, and life.
    Alternatively you’re free to relax, socialise, or practice more kirtan at your own pace.

    Seva Opportunities:
    We’ll connect as a Sangat through Seva—whether that’s helping with Langar, tidying, or supporting one another.

    Which Saaj (Instrument) will I learn?

    We will be teaching camp attendees how to use the Dilruba.

    Can I still learn the Dilruba without owning one?

    Yes absolutely! You will be able to use a spare one at the camp.

    Can I share a room with my friends?

    Yes absolutely! Please let us know who you would like to share with and if there is a group of more than 6.

    What is your safeguarding policy?

    Our safeguarding policy will be available very soon.

    Please rest assured that all our camp leaders are fully DBS checked, and there will be qualified first-aiders on site, including a doctor.

    In addition, all external activity leaders and outdoor instructors are also DBS checked and have received appropriate safety training.

    What will I need to bring with me?

    Once your booking is confirmed, we will send out a detailed information pack within a few weeks.

    This pack will include a list of items we will provide, as well as things you will need to bring.
